Very disappointed. The last few packages they sent out for me arrived more than a day LATER than the very latest estimated time frame. For what they charge, you'd think they'd fly it first class and get it there in under a week. I coulda driven the package there faster. I started online and entered the zip codes to and from, then weight (I have a package scale) and dimensions and UPS estimated $19 for a 2-day delivery. At this store, I actually paid $26 (plus insurance) and it will take 7 days according to tracking. Crossing fingers it doesn't push it out yet another day.
Aidan and Tommy assisted me in my delivery. My order for a printer was sent to the wrong address in Santa Barbara and I am in Texas. I telephoned this store and received the most courteous and efficient attention to assist me. They are fantastic. I was able to get the box to them and they did a return for me over the telephone. My box will be here on Friday in time for Christmas. THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH. Highly recommend using their services. I know I will for future shipments.
I don't particularly want to hear how you have 400 mailboxes, so can't notify customers via e-mail of incoming letters (like USPS does), in a tone making the question seem ridiculous.. I would think it would be obvious, particularly in the mail and packaging industry, that such a process would be automated.. or at least mostly automated.
A simple, "No, sorry, we don't offer that service" is more than sufficient.
The representative did answer the phone fairly promptly, and my impression otherwise of the store is favorable at this time.
Says they have a notary service but when we went, they weren't there. won't be coming back for anything since they wasted my time with their false advertising
Only UPS store I would ever use in Santa Barbara. One of the best anywhere. The employees at the store are always so helpful.
This is an addendum to the original post. I am handicapped and I cannot bring packages into the store that are too heavy or cumbersome. I park in the handicap spot and Tom, the owner, or one of the employees will come out and get my packages for me. I don’t know what I would do without them.
